Welcome to the LCC Southern Cross Pipes and Drums website.
The band gained its name from a grouping of stars on the Australian Flag and only seen in the southern hemisphere. The band whilst supporting the Scottish and Celtic movement is very proud to be Australian.
Southern Cross Pipes & Drums are a community based band that provides tuition to beginners and players of all standards by accomplished and respected band members.
The band welcomes our craft to all ages and has members aged from 7 to 70!
The Southern Cross Pipes & Drums have performed on various television programs, sporting events including Ruby League Grand Finals and along side many National and International acts including Andre Rieu.
The band members are very proud of their achievements on the contest arena and are becoming one of the most respected competition bands in Australia, having recently been upgraded to Grade 2.
